Platform Developer

Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain platform features, applications, and system components.
  
• Build and improve platform functionality to support business and operational needs.
  
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and connections between internal and external systems.
  
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and technical problems.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
  
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, IT teams, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
  
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security.
  
• Maintain and improve existing systems while supporting new development projects.
  
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve platform efficiency.
  
• Document technical processes, system configurations, and development updates.
  
• Stay current with emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  
• Previous experience in software development, platform engineering, or application development.
  
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or PHP.
  
• Experience working with databases, APIs, and system integrations.
  
• Understanding of software development life cycles and version control systems such as Git.
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, hosting environments, and deployment processes is a plus.
  
• Knowledge of front-end and back-end development concepts.
  
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
