Job Title: Platform Configurator – Instanda (Insurance Domain)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Platform Configurator with strong expertise in the Instanda platform to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the insurance industry and hands-on experience configuring insurance products on the Instanda platform. Candidates with experience supporting Managing General Agents (MGAs), particularly in non-admitted Lines of Business (LOBs), will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and maintain insurance products and workflows on the Instanda platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into platform configurations.
- Configure product rules, rating logic, underwriting workflows, forms, and business processes within Instanda.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of insurance products throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform configuration testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality platform delivery.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and product owners to deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure platform configurations align with business, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in production support, defect resolution, and continuous platform improvements.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Overall 10+ years of IT experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Instanda platform.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, policy lifecycle, and insurance business processes.
- Proven experience configuring insurance products and workflows in Instanda.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Managing General Agents (MGA).
- Knowledge of non-admitted Lines of Business (LOBs).
- Experience implementing or configuring commercial or specialty insurance products.
- Familiarity with insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience working in cloud-based insurance platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
