AI Summary

Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles to align multiple teams around shared priorities, milestones, and dependencies. Establish planning frameworks and provide leadership visibility into delivery readiness and organizational capacity.

Overview

Intersect MBO is the member-based organization that underpins Cardano’s decentralized governance. Formed to ensure that the Cardano ecosystem remains community-led and self-sustaining, Intersect acts as both a convenor and enabler - connecting developers, Delegated Representatives (DReps), project teams, and members to shape the blockchain’s future collectively.

Through its committees, working groups, and open membership model, Intersect develops governance frameworks, coordinates ecosystem initiatives, and supports transparency across technical, strategic, and financial domains. Intersect operates independently of IOG, EMURGO, and the Cardano Foundation, while collaborating closely with them to deliver on Cardano’s long-term vision.

Intersect is currently administering over 400 million ADA worth of initiatives on behalf of Cardano’s ecosystem and decentralized treasury, while also playing a key role in supporting tier-1 ecosystem integrations and operational coordination across a rapidly evolving governance landscape.

At its core, Intersect is about community governance in action, giving the people who build and use Cardano the power to guide its direction.

The Role

We're looking for a Delivery Planning Lead to help strengthen how Intersect plans, coordinates, and delivers work across multiple teams and functions.

Reporting into the Director of Operations, this role is suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, facilitating alignment across diverse stakeholders, and ensuring plans are realistic, achievable, and clearly communicated.

You will lead Intersect's planning cycles, helping teams align around shared priorities, milestones, timelines, and dependencies. Working closely with functional leaders, Finance, Operations, and Delivery Governance, you'll help create visibility into what is being delivered, what may be at risk, and where decisions or trade-offs may be required.

This role is not responsible for delivering projects directly. Instead, it exists to ensure the organisation has effective planning practices, strong cross-functional coordination, and a clear view of delivery readiness across the business.

This role sits at the centre of a fast-moving and highly visible operational environment supporting decentralized governance infrastructure, treasury-backed initiatives, ecosystem partnerships, and a growing global organisation.

This role may particularly suit someone who:

  • Enjoys bringing people together around a shared plan and direction
  • Thrives in environments where priorities, dependencies, and constraints need careful coordination
  • Is comfortable facilitating discussions, surfacing trade-offs, and helping stakeholders make informed decisions
  • Enjoys balancing detail with a broader organisational perspective
  • Wants to play a meaningful role in supporting the future direction of decentralized infrastructure and ecosystems

As Delivery Planning Lead, you will cover:

Planning & Prioritisation

  • Lead annual, quarterly, and ongoing planning activities across multiple teams and functions
  • Facilitate planning discussions that align workstreams around shared priorities, milestones, and timelines
  • Maintain a clear planning cadence and forward view of organisational commitments
  • Support teams in identifying realistic delivery plans, sequencing, and dependencies
  • Help create alignment between strategic objectives and operational delivery

Delivery Readiness & Coordination

  • Review delivery plans to identify risks, dependencies, constraints, and feasibility concerns
  • Work with functional leaders to improve planning quality, visibility, and consistency
  • Support cross-functional coordination where workstreams intersect or compete for resources
  • Help surface delivery risks and challenges before they impact outcomes
  • Promote a proactive and transparent approach to planning and execution

Planning Frameworks & Operational Excellence

  • Create and maintain planning templates, frameworks, guidance, and supporting documentation
  • Continuously improve planning processes and ways of working across the organisation
  • Ensure planning activities remain lightweight, practical, and focused on outcomes
  • Support consistency in how teams approach planning, prioritisation, and delivery readiness
  • Help build organisational maturity through effective planning disciplines

Reporting & Leadership Visibility

  • Produce clear planning summaries, delivery insights, and progress updates for leadership
  • Support visibility into delivery readiness, progress, risks, and decision points
  • Provide stakeholders with accurate and timely information to support decision-making
  • Help leadership understand organisational capacity, dependencies, and trade-offs
  • Contribute to a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement

Experience and attributes

  • Strong experience in operational planning, programme planning, delivery management, PMO, business operations, or related disciplines
  • Experience facilitating planning, prioritisation, or delivery discussions across multiple teams
  • Experience supporting annual or quarterly planning cycles within scaling organisations
  • Experience working within complex, fast-moving, or cross-functional and remote-first delivery environments
  • Comfortable identifying risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery trade-offs to leaders
  • Confident using data, planning artefacts, and operational insights to support decision-making
  • Familiarity with portfolio management, programme governance, or delivery operations
  • Experience working with technical, engineering, product, or platform teams
  • Experience working within startups, scale ups, technology organisations, nonprofits, or globally distributed environments is highly desirable

Additional strengths (this will strengthen your candidacy)

  • Understanding of blockchain, Web3, DAOs, or decentralized governance models
  • Experience using ClickUp for Project Management
