- Negotiate with insurance carriers and defense counsel
- Work with adjusters, engineers, experts, and other professionals involved in property claims
- Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and client communications in a remote environment
- Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff
- Build deeper expertise in plaintiff-side insurance litigation while taking on increasing case responsibility

- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Ability to independently manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Strong client communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Comfort working in a fully remote, technology-forward practice
- Interest in developing deeper expertise in insurance litigation
Nice-to-Haves as the Associate Attorney:
- Insurance defense experience
- First-party property insurance experience
- Broader insurance litigation or coverage experience

- 5% commission on net legal fees generated from matters handled by the attorney
- 15% origination credit on net legal fees from matters personally originated or referred to the firm
- Fully remote work
- Greenville, SC is preferred, but qualified South Carolina-barred attorneys may be considered from other locations
- Health insurance with the firm covering 75% of the employee premium
- 401(k) with a 3% employer match
- Meaningful earning upside tied to both case results and business generation
- Opportunity to transition from defense-side practice into plaintiff-side litigation
- Training and support to build first-party property insurance expertise
- Opportunity to take on greater responsibility as the practice expands
