Responsibilities

  • Provide PTA visits in patients' homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist

  • Carry out prescribed therapy treatment plans

  • Assist with strengthening, mobility, balance, gait, and transfer training

  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT

  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

  • Active California PTA license

  • 1+ year of PTA experience preferred

  • Home health experience preferred, but not required

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

  • Strong communication and time-management skills

  • EMR experience preferred
