Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting pharmacists, pharmacy coordinators, and pharmacy programs or initiatives through member outreach, care coordination, and issue resolution, while collaborating with internal departments, external vendors, providers, pharmacies, and members to evaluate and resolve pharmacy-related issues, facilitate access to care, and provide high-quality member support for pharmacy programs and initiatives.

Required Job Qualifications:  

• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a health care/insurance industry (or equivalent) 
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
• Current State Pharmacy Technician Licensures in good standing    

Preferred Job Qualifications:  

• Current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred, with active certification in good standing through PTCB or NHA.
• Demonstrates active listening skills to identify member needs, encourage collaboration, and communicate effectively with members, providers, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals to resolve issues and support care.
• Strong care coordination and problem-solving skills, with experience collaborating with providers, pharmacies, and care teams to address medication access barriers, facilitate referrals, and connect members to appropriate resources.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage outreach activities, accurately document interactions, and meet productivity goals.
• Demonstrates strong communication, care coordination, and problem-solving skills, with experience promoting medication adherence, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and supporting members through effective outreach and resource navigation.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and navigate various databases and software applications.
• Knowledge of drug information and pharmacy-related resources.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow complex oral and written instructions, and understand technical information.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking skills preferred

 

This is a fully remote position, available in the US only, not limited to the posting location.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

This position may be performed remotely from anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Base Pay Range

$19.13 - $34.17
