Altruix is seeking a Pharmacy Licensing and Enrollment Coordinator to support the licensing, permitting, credentialing, and enrollment activities required to keep pharmacies compliant across multiple jurisdictions. This position assists with state and federal licensing, payer enrollment, regulatory filings, document management, and record maintenance so pharmacies remain in good standing with regulatory agencies and commercial payers.


Working under the direction of the Pharmacy Licensing and Enrollment Specialist, the Coordinator completes routine applications, maintains licensing and enrollment records, monitors renewal deadlines, and coordinates documentation required for regulatory and payer submissions. As experience is gained, this role has opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and more complex licensing and enrollment activities.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pharmacy Licensing & Regulatory Support:

  • Prepare and submit pharmacy license applications and renewals, DEA registrations, and change notifications, ensuring accuracy of all information and compliance with state pharmacy laws and regulations


Payer Enrollment Support:

  • Assist with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollments, revalidations, and change notifications


Provider & Pharmacy Identification Profiles:

  • Maintain National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) and National Provider Identifier profiles


Corporate Compliance Support:

  • Maintain current and accurate information in pharmacy site Regulatory Bins
  • Support maintaining corporate compliance documentation (for example, surety bonds, FEIN letters, certificates of insurance)
  • Support the process of preparing and submitting required foreign registrations, registered agent filings, annual reports, and renewals


Documentation, Records & Administration:

  • Maintain electronic licensing and enrollment files and track application status
  • Maintain licensing SharePoint; draft and maintain department policies, procedures, and job aids
  • Support administrative tasks such as DocuSign requests, converting forms, and preparing forms and applications
  • Support department projects and perform other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, licensing, credentialing, enrollment, regulatory compliance, or related administrative work
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to execute direction and take initiative
  • Practical problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive business, regulatory, and legal information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Experience working with pharmacy licensing or healthcare credentialing preferred
  • Experience developing job aids and/or policies and procedures preferred
  • Familiarity with Boards of Pharmacy, DEA, CDS, Medicare, Medicaid, PBMs, or commercial payer enrollment preferred
  • Experience maintaining regulatory records or document repositories preferred
  • Experience using DocuSign or similar electronic document management systems preferred
  • Experience working in a highly regulated healthcare environment preferred
