Overview
The Pharmacy IT Solutions Manager serves as the primary liaison between Pharmacy Operations, Finance, and Information Technology teams, ensuring the successful delivery and support of pharmacy technology solutions, data analytics, and operational initiatives. This role leads and supports IT-related projects, system enhancements, testing activities, regulatory reporting, and data-driven decision-making processes that directly impact pharmacy operations and financial performance.
The manager functions as a subject matter expert for pharmacy systems, pharmacy claims data, pricing methodologies, and reporting solutions. Responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements, support system implementations, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), perform root cause analysis, and ensure successful project execution. This position also supports inbound revenue allocation, financial reconciliation activities, regulatory reporting requirements, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong healthcare and pharmacy domain knowledge with technical expertise in data analytics, reporting, and IT project delivery, serving as a key bridge between business operations and technology teams.
Education
- Master's Degree (Required)
Certification/Licensure
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
3 years of healthcare experience required.
3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence required.
Experience with Databricks, Azure Synapse, SQL, and advanced Microsoft Excel required.
Experience with PowerBI and Tableau preferred.
Experience working with pharmacy claims data including familiarity with the NCPDP post adjudication layout, pharmacy pricing, reimbursement methodologies, or pharmacy financial operations required.
Experience supporting IT projects, system implementations, creating project plans, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case development, root cause analysis, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration required.
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$91,416.00-$152,380.80. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
