The Role We Need: 

PadSplit is hiring a Performance Marketing Specialist to help scale and optimize paid acquisition across both Member Growth (the people living in PadSplits) and Host Growth (the people who own the PadSplits). This role is critical to driving efficient, data-driven growth by managing campaigns across multiple paid channels while continuously improving performance through testing and experimentation. You’ll play a key role in expanding our reach, lowering acquisition costs, and unlocking new growth opportunities that will impact our mission to help solve the affordable housing crisis.

We’re looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented operator who thrives in a performance-driven environment and takes ownership of results. You’re someone who enjoys digging into data, running structured experiments, and turning insights into measurable growth. You are proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns while collaborating cross-functionally in a dynamic setting.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
  • Campaign Management: Own day-to-day execution of paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, and partner listing campaigns.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize campaigns to hit CPA, CAC, ROAS, and volume targets across Member and Host funnels.
  • Budget Allocation: Manage budgets, bids, and audience segmentation to maximize efficiency and scale.
  • Creative Testing: Partner with external design resources to test ad copy, creatives, landing pages, and offers.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external platforms and internal stakeholders to launch and refine campaigns.
  • Funnel Analysis: Analyze full-funnel performance to identify drop-offs and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experiment Execution: Design and run A/B tests across targeting, creative, and bidding strategies.
  • Reporting Insights: Build dashboards and deliver clear, actionable performance insights to stakeholders.


Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
  • Performance Experience: 2–4+ years managing paid media campaigns with direct-response KPIs.
  • Channel Expertise: Hands-on experience with paid search and paid social platforms (Google, Meta, etc.).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, build reports, and derive actionable insights.
  • Testing Mindset: Experience running structured experiments and optimizing based on results.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with analytics platforms such as GA4, Rockerbox, or similar tools.
  • Attention Detail: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Ownership Mentality: Self-starter who takes initiative and drives projects end-to-end.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly present insights and collaborate across teams.


The Interview Process:
  • Your application will be reviewed for possible next steps by a human being in the PeopleOps department.
  • If you meet eligibility requirements, the next step would be a video call with a member of the PeopleOps team for about thirty (30) minutes.
  • If warranted, the next step would be a video interview with our Director of Performance Marketing for forty-five (45) minutes.
  • If warranted, the final step would be a video panel interview with additional stakeholders for one-and-a-half (1.5) hours.  For this interview, a candidate would participate in a campaign exercise to the panel for discussion.
  • If warranted, then we move to contract!

Compensation is based on the role's scope, national market benchmarks, the person's expertise and experience, and the impact of their contributions to our business goals.
