The Performance Marketer supports data-informed marketing decisions by providing audience insights, performance analysis, research support, and scalable marketing solutions. Working across marketing initiatives and channels, this role helps improve campaign effectiveness, optimize audience engagement, and support strategic decision-making through the application of established frameworks, tools, and best practices. 

The Performance Marketer collaborates with stakeholders across Marketing and the broader organization to analyze performance, support audience strategy, improve marketing processes, and enable the efficient collection and reporting of customer and market feedback.

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Research Operations and Enablement

  • Build and manage survey bases, reporting, and standardized research workflows that support the collection and reporting of customer, market, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Analyze research results and identify meaningful themes, patterns, and opportunities that support stakeholder decision-making.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure research activities are executed efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with established processes and best practices.

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret marketing performance data.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations that support optimization and marketing decision-making.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analyses that help stakeholders understand performance and outcomes.

Audience Strategy and Intelligence

  • Support audience segmentation, audience selection, and targeting efforts using audience, behavioral, and performance data.
  • Apply established audience frameworks and best practices to improve campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure audience strategies align with campaign objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Analyze audience trends and engagement patterns to identify opportunities for improved targeting, personalization, and marketing effectiveness.

Marketing Enablement and Process innovation

  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of scalable marketing frameworks, tools, processes, and workflows.
  • Use data, stakeholder feedback, and performance insights to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness across marketing activities.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of frameworks, documentation, templates, and best practices that enable more effective marketing execution and decision-making.

Strategic Partnership & Cross-functional collaboration

  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across Marketing and the broader organization.
  • Provide support, recommendations, and expertise within assigned areas of responsibility. Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects that support organizational goals and improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Communicate findings in a clear, compelling manner that helps stakeholders understand opportunities, make informed decisions, and improve marketing effectiveness. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Strong writing, editing, Excel, and data-analysis abilities.
  • Strong brand-development and brand-establishment abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer focused.
  • Prior experience in higher education or educational technology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google software.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to support research, data analysis, audience insights, content development, or workflow efficiency.
  • Experience supporting audience segmentation, persona development, customer journey mapping, or lifecycle marketing initiatives.

Salary: $62,000 - $72,000/ year.

Exemption status: Exempt

Physical Requirements: 

Requires periods of close concentration. The employee must be able to multitask, must be able to sit for long periods, must be able to concentrate in a noisy/busy environment. 

The position is eligible for remote employment, excluding the following locations: Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Mississippi, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wyoming.
