You will partner directly with client stakeholders to maintain platform health, support users, and ensure Salesforce is configured to meet regulatory and operational needs. This is a highly independent, client-facing role requiring both technical expertise and strong communication skills.

You will manage a structured cadence of enhancements and issue resolution, translating business requirements into system changes that improve usability, reporting, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, ensuring the platform remains stable and well-governed, and continuously optimizing configurations to align with evolving business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active Salesforce Administrator certification required (Advanced Administrator a plus)
  • Strong experience with user management, security model (roles, profiles, permission sets), and data governance
  • Proficiency in Flow automation, reporting, dashboards, and core platform configuration
  • Experience supporting regulated industries (utilities, energy, or government) preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time consulting capacity with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships effectively

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and permission sets aligned to client security requirements
  • Configure and maintain objects, fields, record types, validation rules, and page layouts
  • Build and maintain automations using Salesforce Flow and other declarative tools
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational visibility
  • Triage and resolve user-reported issues, bugs, and service requests on a recurring cadence
  • Perform data management activities including deduplication, imports/exports, and mass updates
  • Maintain system documentation, including change logs and admin runbooks
  • Monitor platform health, storage usage, and org limits; escalate risks when identified
  • Support sandbox management and standard change control processes
