We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Online AP Biology Teacher to provide one-on-one instruction to a high school student preparing for AP Biology.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the AP Biology curriculum and experience preparing students for the AP exam. The teacher should be able to explain complex biology concepts clearly, provide engaging lessons, and help the student develop strong skills in data analysis, experimental design, scientific reasoning, and AP-style Free-Response Questions (FRQs).
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one online AP Biology lessons
Follow and support the College Board AP Biology curriculum
Prepare the student for AP Biology exams and FRQs
Review homework, tests, and practice questions
Identify areas of weakness and develop an individualized study plan
Teach effective test-taking and time-management strategies
Track the student's progress and provide regular feedback
Qualifications:
Previous AP Biology teaching or tutoring experience preferred
Strong background in Biology or a related field
Familiarity with the AP Biology exam and scoring rubric
Excellent English communication and teaching skills
Patient, engaging, and able to motivate high school students
Reliable and available for regular online sessions
Schedule: Flexible, to be arranged based on the student's availability.
