About This Opportunity
We're looking for a contract Paid Ads Expert to help us scale user acquisition for ScrollToll — a fitness app that blocks addictive apps like Instagram and TikTok until users complete physical exercises like push-ups or squats.
The app just launched on Android. iOS is launching imminently. We need someone who understands paid acquisition at the campaign level — not just boosting posts or managing budgets on autopilot.
This is a hands-on contract role. You'll run experiments, read the data, and help us figure out what actually drives installs and conversions for this product.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and manage App Promotion campaigns across Meta Ads and other relevant platforms
  • Track installs, attribution, and conversion events — and flag when data looks off
  • Run structured audience and creative tests to identify what works
  • Scale winning campaigns and cut what isn't performing
  • Monitor the metrics that actually matter for app growth — installs, CPI, ROAS, retention signals
  • Make informed decisions on when to kill a campaign versus let it run


What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience running app install campaigns — mobile apps preferred, but strong e-commerce or lead gen experience is considered
  • Deep familiarity with Meta Ads, including App Promotion campaign setup and optimization
  • Understanding of the difference between optimizing for clicks, installs, and purchases — and when each matters
  • Comfortable with attribution tracking and diagnosing data discrepancies
  • Ability to stretch a limited budget into measurable results through structured testing


Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with TikTok Ads or Google App Campaigns
  • Familiarity with mobile attribution tools like AppsFlyer or Adjust
  • Experience scaling an app from zero or near-zero install volume
  • Understanding of creative performance patterns for fitness, productivity, or utility apps

  • Results-oriented — you measure success in installs and conversions, not activity and reports
  • Comfortable working with a lean budget and making every rupee count
  • Able to communicate clearly what you're testing, why, and what you're seeing
  • Proactive in flagging issues and proposing next steps without waiting to be asked

Flexible Hours
— Availability between 6pm and 12am PKT is required for team overlap and collaboration.

— You'll work closely with the product and growth team, with short feedback loops and quick decision-making.
