Position Overview

Automus is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant – Application Managed Services (AMS) to join our growing Managed Services practice. This role is responsible for supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud environments following production go-live by providing technical expertise across Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), reporting, integrations, enhancements, and application support.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of Oracle Cloud technical experience with strong hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development skills and experience supporting Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, or CX environments. This individual will work directly with functional consultants and client stakeholders to troubleshoot production issues, develop technical enhancements, support quarterly Oracle updates, and ensure stable day-to-day operation of Oracle Cloud applications.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent customer communication, and the ability to manage multiple client environments in a fast-paced Managed Services organization.

Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to support of Oracle Government Cloud clients.

Key Responsibilities – Managed Services & Technical Support

Oracle Fusion Application Support

• Provide production support for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications following go-live.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, defects, and technical issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions.
• Support multiple Oracle Cloud client environments simultaneously while meeting established service levels.
• Participate in Oracle quarterly updates, regression testing, validation, and production deployment activities.
• Assist with application maintenance, technical enhancements, and ongoing optimization.

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations.
• Build application-driven, scheduled, file-based, and event-driven integrations.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services.
• Configure Oracle adapters including:
  • Oracle ERP Cloud
  • Oracle HCM Cloud
  • REST
  • FTP/SFTP
  • Database
  • File Adapter
• Monitor integration performance and implement logging, notifications, and error handling.
• Support migration of integrations across Development, Test, and Production environments.

Oracle Fusion Technical Development

• Develop BI Publisher reports and OTBI analyses.
• Create HDL/HSDL templates and HCM Extracts.
• Develop Fast Formulas where applicable.
• Build SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Configure Value Sets, Lookups, Descriptive Flexfields (DFF), and Extensible Flexfields (EFF).
• Develop inbound and outbound interfaces using Oracle standard technologies.
• Perform data migrations using FBDI, HDL, and spreadsheet loaders.
• Produce technical documentation and reusable development standards.

Collaboration & Client Support

• Partner with Oracle Functional Consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support business users during testing, production support, and stabilization activities.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
• Collaborate with Oracle Support to resolve product defects and Service Requests.
• Maintain documentation for technical solutions, enhancements, interfaces, and production support activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service while working directly with client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of Oracle Cloud technical consulting or Managed Services experience.
• 2–5+ years of hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development experience.
• Experience supporting Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, or CX Cloud applications in production environments.
• Experience supporting post-go-live Oracle Cloud environments, including incident management, enhancements, and quarterly updates.
• Oracle Cloud certifications are preferred.
