Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle Business Analyst to support business process analysis, requirements gathering, and Oracle application initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective Oracle-based solutions.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Oracle applications.
Work with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
Support Oracle ERP implementation, enhancement, configuration, and integration activities.
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Prepare business process documentation, functional requirements, user stories, and workflow diagrams.
Coordinate with Oracle technical teams, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in testing activities, including test planning, test-case preparation, UAT, and defect tracking.
Assist with troubleshooting functional issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
Support data validation, reporting, and analysis related to Oracle applications.
Participate in project meetings, status reporting, and documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Understanding of business process analysis, workflow documentation, and SDLC methodologies.
Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Must be willing and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle ERP / Oracle Cloud applications.
Experience with Oracle modules such as Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Projects.
Experience with Oracle integrations and interfaces.
Familiarity with SQL and data analysis.
Experience creating functional specifications, process flows, and data mappings.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
Previous experience working on U.S. Government or Department of Defense (DoD) projects.
Experience working in a security-cleared environment.
Knowledge of Oracle reporting and data-management tools.
Security RequirementThis position requires the ability and willingness to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
