Operations Project Manager - Transmission and Substation

About the role: The Project Manager - T&S receives budgetary approval for assigned projects and is responsible for all aspects until they place the project in service and close it out. The Project Manager T&S will lead the project team. This team consists of associated departments, including Engineering, CRE, Siting & Permitting, Legal, Environmental, ISC, Business Services, External Affairs, TSE Construction, and T&S Ops. The team will complete projects according to approved budgets and schedules. You will report to the Program Manager. This is a 1-year, remote contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety, Schedule, Risk, and Budget Management
• Contract Administration
• Project Reporting
• Project Communications
• FERC Compliance Requirements
• Project Close Out
• The PM T&S will act in our best interest in the management of all assigned activities
• Manage project execution from budgetary approval to completion for large T&S major projects
• Lead project teams to meet approved budgets and schedules
• Collaborate with T&S Construction, clearance execution; provide monthly budget forecast spend reports; production and submittal of FERC compliance documentation; and support final job close out
• Work directly with T&S major project leadership to resolve project challenges."

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field with Project Management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Relevant Experience: 15 or more years of experience leading Transmission & Substation or related projects with high-level engineering and project management expertise

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $63/hour to $102/hour.
