• Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm (Budapest time)
• Lesson Frequency: 1 time per week
• Lesson Duration: 1.5 hours
• Current Hungarian level: Complete beginner
• Native/other languages: Turkish (native), English (B2), Arabic (A2)
Student’s language needs and goals:
• Build a strong and structured foundation in Hungarian
• Understand the logic, grammar, and sentence structure of the language early on
• Reach A2 level by the end of the year and B2 the following year
• Develop disciplined and efficient study habits
• Practice conversation while maintaining a grammar-first learning approach
• Receive regular feedback and progress guidance
Additional Information:
• Highly motivated and experienced language learner
• Prefers very structured lessons with consistency in teaching style and materials
• Interested in access to learning materials such as PDFs and books
• Would like the possibility of recording lessons
• Enjoys travel, Arabic language, shopping, and learning about different cultures
Responsibilities
• Deliver highly structured beginner-level Hungarian lessons
• Focus on grammar foundations, sentence structure, and language logic
• Provide organized study plans and consistent learning materials
• Incorporate conversation practice appropriate to the student’s level
• Give detailed feedback and monitor progress toward CEFR goals
• Adapt lessons while maintaining a clear and disciplined methodology
Qualifications
• Native or near-native proficiency in Hungarian
• Teaching certificate or degree in language teaching, linguistics, education, or related field
• Experience teaching adult beginners (required)
• Ability to teach grammar and sentence structure clearly and systematically
• Strong organizational and communication skills
