Job Summary:

Global Partners is seeking a highly strategic, execution-oriented leader to serve as a senior partner to the Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer (CSTO) and support key priorities of the Office of the CEO. This role will help shape how Global develops leaders, drives accountability, strengthens organizational effectiveness, and executes enterprise priorities.This individual will play a central role in building the next generation of leadership at Global, helping reimagine executive and high-potential leadership forums, advancing executive succession planning, fostering a stronger coaching and performance culture, and ensuring enterprise priorities cascade clearly through the organization.The role combines strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, governance, executive communications, and operational execution. It requires someone who can move seamlessly between enterprise strategy and hands-on implementation while operating with credibility and discretion at the highest levels of the company.This leader will help translate strategy into action, improving organizational alignment and operating cadence, strengthening leadership effectiveness, and ensuring key initiatives maintain momentum and accountability across the business. The role will also serve as an operational extension of the CSTO and a key support partner to broader Office of the CEO priorities and executive programming.

Job Description:

  • Lead and evolve Global’s executive succession and leadership planning processes, partnering closely with executive leadership to identify future leadership needs, key talent risks, development priorities, and succession pipelines.
  • Help build and institutionalize a stronger coaching, accountability, and feedback culture across the organization, reinforcing leadership expectations and high-performance behaviors.
  • Lead enterprise organizational review processes for key initiatives and organizational changes, including assessments of role clarity, decision rights, governance, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify organizational strengths, gaps, risks, and opportunities, and develop practical recommendations and implementation plans.
  • Help shape and reinforce leadership principles, operating expectations, and enterprise leadership behaviors aligned with Global’s culture and strategy.
  • Support the development and implementation of KPI and performance frameworks that cascade from enterprise strategy to business units, functions, teams, and individual leaders.
  • Drive greater execution discipline, accountability, and follow-through across leadership teams through stronger operating rhythms, governance structures, and leadership cadences.
  • Lead the redesign, development, and ongoing management of Global’s executive and leadership forums, including the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), executive offsites, high-potential leadership cohorts, and other enterprise leadership groups.
  • Reimagine how leadership teams operate across the company, creating stronger connectivity, clearer accountability, and more effective enterprise decision-making and collaboration.
  • Partner with HR to create meaningful leadership programming, development experiences, and operating cadence that strengthen alignment, accelerate leadership capability, and reinforce Global’s culture and leadership principles.
  • Design and curate content, agendas, experiences, facilitation approaches, and follow-through mechanisms for executive meetings, leadership forums, and enterprise events.
  • Support high-profile executive programming and strategic initiatives as part of the Office of the CEO.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor, thought partner, and operational extension of the CSTO across a broad and fast-moving portfolio.
  • Bring structure and prioritization to executive priorities by helping sequence work, drive alignment, and ensure the most important initiatives move forward effectively.
  • Drive preparation and follow-through for executive meetings, business reviews, transformation governance forums, leadership offsites, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Manage highly sensitive and confidential matters with sound judgment, maturity, and absolute discretion.
  • Represent and support CSTO priorities across Global’s enterprise transformation agenda, helping connect organizational, leadership, and governance priorities to broader business transformation efforts.
  • Support enterprise strategic planning processes by helping connect priorities, trade-offs, capabilities, and execution across business units and enterprise functions.
  • Help shape governance structures, decision-making forums, and operating models that improve enterprise effectiveness, clarity, and speed of execution.
  • Draft executive communications, presentations, talking points, organizational announcements, and leadership messaging for senior audiences.
  • Develop briefing materials and executive narratives for town halls, leadership forums, transformation initiatives, and major enterprise communications.
  • Support enterprise communications tied to strategic priorities, organizational changes, leadership transitions, and transformation initiatives, ensuring messaging is clear, aligned, and reflective of Global’s culture and leadership principles.
  • Serve as a connector across business units and enterprise functions, strengthening communication, coordination, alignment, and execution across the organization.
  • Help maintain a cohesive enterprise narrative across leadership forums, transformation initiatives, strategic planning, and executive communications.

Additional Job Description:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8–15+ years of experience across strategy, organizational effectiveness, executive operations, chief of staff, HR transformation, or communications roles.
  • Experience designing and operating executive and high-potential leadership forums, programs, or cohort-based development experiences.
  • Demonstrated success leading or supporting organizational reviews.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft executive- and Board-level materials.
  • Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Highly organized, with strong program- and project-management discipline and a bias for execution.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, retail, or a similarly complex multi-segment enterprise is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and an enterprise perspective.
  • Trusted, discreet, and credible partner to executive leadership.
  • Sound judgment and comfort navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Collaborative, low-ego, and highly adaptable.
  • Equally effective in strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Pay Range:

$118,400.00 - $177,600.00

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
