The assistant will support the Muncie Arts and Culture Council with board and committee management, grant research, and drafting. They will also assist with program coordination, public outreach, and general administrative operations.
The duties are to support the following activities of the Muncie Arts and Culture Council (MuncieArts):
board and committee management, e.g. meeting notes, presentations, etc. grants, especially drafts and research programs, e.g.
Mayor’s Arts Awards, Artist Spotlight, First Thursday, public art, tabling, outreach, etc.
operations, including research and writing for communications, building management administrative support,
e.g. file management Remote work is permitted on a project-by-project basis
Students with office experience, plus an interest in arts and culture preferred.
A criminal background check will be completed on the selected applicant.
