Job Title: Network Engineer - 5+ Years Experience
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support and operate enterprise network infrastructure across office, campus, and cloud environments. This role focuses on network reliability, secure configuration enforcement, patch compliance, user connectivity support, and day-to-day operations with strong exposure to Zero Trust architectures and Zscaler technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations & Maintenance
● Maintain and upgrade network devices, Wi‑Fi systems, and Zscaler components to ensure high availability and security.
● Support the design and build of office network infrastructure.
● Troubleshoot end-user connectivity issues across wired, wireless, VPN, and cloud environments.
Security, Patch & Configuration Compliance
● Ensure ≥99% patch and firmware compliance across all network devices.
● Remediate critical network vulnerabilities within defined SLAs
● Enforce secure network configuration baselines aligned with CIS benchmarks.
Zero Trust & Zscaler Operations
● Operate and support Zero Trust architecture using Zscaler.
● Provide operational support for:
o ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access)
o ZPA (Zscaler Private Access)
o ZDX (Zscaler Digital Experience)
● Assist with policy configuration, App Connector health checks, and log analysis.
● Troubleshoot authentication, access flow, and connectivity issues independently.
Security Automation & Tooling[1]
● Design, develop, and maintain Network automation scripts and workflow enhancements using Ansible and Terraform
● Build cloud network infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
Documentation & Reporting
● Develop and maintain runbooks for network recovery and operational procedures.
● Provide monthly reporting on network performance, availability, and reliability.
Technical Skills & Experience
Advanced Networking Expertise
● Strong expertise in:
o BGP and OSPF (design and troubleshooting)
o TCP/IP protocol stack and packet-level analysis
o Troubleshoot ISP Circuits
o Secure VPN and hybrid connectivity models
Infrastructure & Platforms
● Extensive hands-on experience with:
o Enterprise firewalls (Juniper, AWS Firewall)
o Routers, switches (Juniper)
o Aruba wireless solutions
Automation:
● Proficiency in following IaC tools
o Ansible
o Terraform
● Incident Management and Troubleshooting Network Incidents
● Proficiency in Git and modern version control workflows
Monitoring & Hybrid Troubleshooting
● Deep operational experience with Datadog, Kentik, and Cribl.
● Proven ability to troubleshoot office-to-cloud, datacenter, and hybrid network environments at scale.

CCNA, CCNP, Juniper, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, Terraform, Cloud Certifications
