MS DYNAMICS 365 BUSINESS CENTRAL DEVELOPER

Zensar Technologies Limited is looking for a seasoned Business Central Developer (5‑10 years experience) to create and extend AL‑based objects, build matrix and dashboard pages, manage data exchanges, and integrate BC with external systems. The role involves end‑to‑end development, testing, deployment, and collaboration with functional teams, with optional Power BI and Azure DevOps expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Business Central objects (tables, pages, codeunits, queries, reports) using AL.
• Design matrix pages, dashboards, and complex UI components to meet business requirements.
• Create codeunits for processing Excel/CSV files and handling data transformations.
• Implement data exchange mechanisms via FTP, Azure Blob Storage, and other external sources.
• Develop RDLC and Word‑based reports and ensure seamless integration with BC functionality.
• Build integrations with third‑party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and EDI.
• Write unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure high‑quality, performance‑optimized solutions.
• Manage version control, branching, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Coordinate deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Document technical designs, integration flows, and maintain knowledge‑base artifacts.

Qualifications

• 5‑10 years of hands‑on experience developing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Proficiency in AL code development and object debugging.
• Strong experience creating matrix pages, dashboards, and complex UI elements.
• Hands‑on knowledge of data exchange via FTP, Azure Blob Storage, and file processing.
• Experience building and customizing reports (RDLC, Word) within Business Central.
• Ability to implement integrations using REST/SOAP web services and EDI.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of Power BI for reporting (optional but advantageous).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and cross‑functional teams.
