Modeler - Mid to Senior Level

We are now seeking a talented and detail-oriented Modeler to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Mid to Senior level artist to contribute to our visual effects pipeline, creating high-quality digital assets that meet the technical and aesthetic standards of our high-end projects.

The Modeler will be responsible for crafting high-quality 3D assets, ranging from complex hard-surface machinery to organic characters and environments. You will work closely with Art Directors, VFX Supervisors, and the wider CG team to ensure all assets are built efficiently and integrated seamlessly into our production pipeline.

What you would do

• Build high-quality 3D models, including hard-surface props, organic characters, and environments, ensuring they meet project-specific artistic and technical requirements.

• Perform clean retopology and efficient UV unwrapping to ensure optimal deformation and texture fidelity.

• Collaborate closely with the rigging and layout departments to ensure models are production-ready and meet the requirements of downstream departments.

• Actively participate in the review process, taking feedback from Supervisors and Art Directors to iterate on asset quality.

• Troubleshoot modeling issues, providing creative and technical solutions to production challenges.

• Maintain organized project files and naming conventions, adhering to the studio’s pipeline standards.

What you need

• 3+ years (Mid) 5+ years (Senior) of professional experience as a Modeler in a VFX, feature film, or high-end episodic production environment.

• Expert proficiency in industry-standard modeling software (e.g., Maya, ZBrush, Mudbox, or Blender). Houdini a plus!

• A strong understanding of form, silhouette, anatomy, and structural design.

• Solid grasp of topology for animation and PBR workflow requirements.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
