Develop and maintain features across the Angular storefront and .NET backend while contributing to the migration of legacy systems. Participate in the development of a new Order Management System and ensure code quality through testing and bug fixing.

Langate is an award-winning provider of web development services in 3 main categories: business, healthcare, and education. At Langate, we're passionate about crafting digital solutions that make a real impact. We take immense pride in our strong collaboration with the U.S.  We're here to shape the future of technology, one milestone at a time.

In addition to technical expertise, we value excellent communication skills. Collaboration and effective teamwork are the cornerstones of our success, and we believe in fostering an environment where everyone’s voice is heard and valued.

To thrive in this role, we are looking for a Middle engineer with confident hands-on .NET/C# development, practical Angular experience, and the habit of clarifying incomplete requirements instead of waiting for a finished specification.

About the project:

You will join the team modernising a large US e-commerce platform in the durable medical equipment and mobility products space. The platform is being migrated from a legacy Adobe ColdFusion system to an Angular storefront served by a .NET 8+ backend, with a gradual re-platforming to Azure planned. The current production system is in maintenance while the frontend migration is around halfway through, and a new Order Management System is being built alongside it.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of commercial experience in .NET development, including C# and ASP.NET Core.

  • Good experience with Angular and TypeScript, including developing and maintaining frontend components.

  • Experience working with REST APIs, backend services, and integrations between frontend and backend systems.

  • Understanding of SQL databases, data modeling, and writing optimized queries.

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, CMS, or other complex business applications is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with legacy system modernization and working with existing codebases.

  • Basic practical experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based applications.

  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, branching strategies, and standard development workflows.

  • Experience writing unit and integration tests; understanding of the testing pyramid.

  • Basic knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices. Experience with PCI-DSS-related systems is a plus.

  • Ability to investigate issues, troubleshoot problems, and independently find solutions.

  • Ability to clarify requirements with the team and ask relevant questions when requirements are unclear.

  • Willingness to use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude Code to improve development efficiency.

  • Upper-intermediate English or higher, with the ability to communicate effectively with international colleagues and clients.

  • At least 4 hours of daily overlap with New York time.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain features across the Angular storefront and the .NET backend.

  • Contribute to the migration of the legacy ColdFusion e-commerce platform to the modern stack.

  • Implement and support integrations with existing systems and services.

  • Participate in the development of the new Order Management System.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable production code, and investigate and fix bugs across front-end and back-end components.

  • Clarify requirements directly with the people who have the answers, estimate your tasks, and communicate blockers early.

  • Work with Azure-based environments and CI/CD pipelines, following the established engineering standards.

  • Use AI coding assistants responsibly for prototyping, development, debugging, and delivery efficiency.

We offer:

  • B2B contract, paid sick leave, 20 days of paid vacation

  • Official Ukrainian holidays are non-working days

  • Flexible work schedule

  • Free English lessons

  • Paid courses and certifications

  • Coach/psychologist consultation

  • Workshops

  • Career development plan, mentoring education

  • Medical Health Insurance
