Mid/Senior AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer

Optiveum is looking for a talented Mid/Senior Full-Stack Engineer for a long-term, engaging project. The cooperation is based on a B2B contract directly with Optiveum, with an immediate start (ASAP).

The Client

You will be working for a US-based technology company building a live social platform for authentic connection and an emerging multimodal intelligence business for audience understanding. While the client operates in the US time zone, your work will be highly asynchronous with only occasional meetings required.

The Role

As an AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer, you will deliver features across mobile, web, backend, and AI-enabled product surfaces. Depending on your experience level, you will either independently deliver bounded vertical slices of the product or own meaningful product outcomes while improving architecture and mentoring a small, fast-paced team.

What you will do

• Deliver and own high-value features from problem framing through production across React Native, Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Go and Python microservices, and GCP.

• Diagnose and improve real product workflows spanning UI, APIs, data, media, background processing, and third-party services.

• Strengthen the media lifecycle—including capture, upload, processing, playback, analysis, retrieval, and failure recovery—across mobile and web.

• Evolve AI-assisted transcription and audio/video analysis with explicit quality measures, observability, privacy, and cost controls.

• Use AI as an active engineering partner throughout discovery, design, implementation, testing, debugging, review, and documentation.

• Write maintainable code, focused tests, useful instrumentation, and concise documentation.

What we expect

• Solid TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals and experience delivering production mobile or web applications.

• Production depth in TypeScript/Node and ability to read, extend, and troubleshoot Go and Python microservices on GCP.

• Working knowledge of APIs, data modeling, asynchronous workflows, testing, source control, and cloud deployment.

• Familiarity with production LLM concerns such as context design, structured outputs, grounding, latency, cost, and privacy.

• Experience with agentic workflows, structured tool use, MCPs, and evaluation.

• Clear written and spoken English, dependability in a remote team, and readiness to be candid about unknowns.

• Experience with media-heavy consumer products, social/community systems, creator platforms, or moderation is a major plus.

• Gemini or Vertex AI experience on GCP is a strong advantage, though equivalent production experience with other model platforms also counts.

What is offered

• Salary: 125 - 130 PLN net/h
