Manning Global, a premier global staffing and managed services provider specialising in worldwide leading sectors such as Social Media, E-Commerce, ICT, Engineering, AI, Automotive and Energy is recruiting for a Merchandise Strategy Specialist – E-commerce Campaigns on behalf of one of their blue chip international clients to join their organisation in the UK.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Merchandise Strategy Specialist to support the development and execution of merchandise selection strategies and promotional subsidy plans for UK e-commerce campaigns.
This role will focus on driving key business metrics including GMV growth, operational efficiency, merchant participation, conversion performance, and user growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align campaign strategies with market trends, consumer demand, and wider platform business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimise end-to-end merchandise strategies for UK e-commerce campaigns, including seasonal promotions and major sales events, by analysing industry trends, competitor activity, and user insights.
Support initiatives that directly drive GMV, conversion rates, average order value, and overall campaign performance.
Design merchant incentive mechanisms using platform resources such as traffic support, subsidies, and data tools to attract high-quality merchants and competitively priced products.
Collaborate with Account Management and Business Development teams to expand merchant coverage and improve merchant recruitment efficiency.
Create targeted subsidy strategies for campaigns and conduct A/B testing to optimise subsidy ROI, supporting user acquisition and repeat purchase growth.
Coordinate with Product, Data Analytics, Engineering, and Operations teams to consolidate product feature requirements and support the development of data infrastructure.
Use data-driven insights to adjust campaign strategies, improve performance, and align key stakeholders.
Experience/Qualifications:
At least 1 year of relevant experience in e-commerce, retail, brand management, consulting, business strategy, operations, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable business insights.
Proficiency in Excel is required; SQL and data visualisation tools would be highly beneficial.
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with Business Development, Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic e-commerce environment.
