Member Solutions Counselor

Do you enjoy helping people who have fallen on hard times? In the Member Solutions Counselor role,

You'll be responsible for:

• Keeping open lines of communication with delinquent members for early intervention counseling.
• Working closely with investor credit unions and maintaining positive working relationships with their collection staff.
• Using your problem-solving abilities to tackle any issues head-on, keeping all parties informed as necessary as you work toward resolutions.
• Making daily outbound calls to review members' financial status and develop workable repayment arrangements.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Be creative in your approach to developing appropriate resolutions that meet the requirements of all parties involved.
• Communicate effectively to convey options to members.
• Confidently make quick decisions.
• Use sympathy to deescalate situations swiftly.
• Display your grit and perseverance during challenging situations.

You'll have:

• A minimum of 1 year of collections or customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, aiding your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and deadline-driven environment.
• Working knowledge of FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and loss mitigation guidelines.
