Athreon is seeking an experienced Meeting Minutes & Transcription Specialist to
support professional meeting documentation projects. This independent contractor role
combines accurate transcription with the ability to transform recorded meetings into
clear, concise, and well-organized meeting minutes.
The ideal candidate has professional transcription experience and demonstrated
experience preparing formal meeting minutes for organizations such as businesses,
boards, committees, associations, government agencies, educational institutions, or
similar professional environments.
●Transcribe recorded meetings accurately from audio or video
●Review transcripts and recordings to identify key information and outcomes
●Prepare clear, professional meeting minutes according to client requirements
●Accurately capture attendees, agenda items, motions, decisions, votes, action
items, assignments, and other relevant information
●Distinguish important discussion points from conversational or nonessential
●Produce summary, detailed, or other client-specified styles of meeting minutes
●Research names, terminology, organizations, and other information when
●Proofread and quality-check completed transcripts and minutes before
●Follow client-specific formatting, confidentiality, and documentation
●Meet established turnaround times while maintaining a high level of accuracy
