Medical Science Liaison (MSL) (m/f/x) - IG

Location: Sweden (ideally based in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö) | Field-Based Role

Contract: fulltime / permanent

You will serve as the scientific expert and key medical interface between CSL and external healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), researchers, and other stakeholders. You will contribute to the successful execution of our medical strategy by facilitating scientific exchange, gathering valuable insights from the field, and supporting evidence generation initiatives across the Nordic region.

This is a highly collaborative, field-based role with approximately 80% customer-facing activity, offering the opportunity to work across multiple Nordic countries while partnering closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, and Clinical Development colleagues.

The Role

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, professional associations, and key external experts.
  • Serve as the primary scientific point of contact for healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct scientific exchanges and provide timely, accurate responses to medical information requests.
  • Lead and support advisory boards, scientific meetings, congresses, and educational initiatives.
  • Develop and execute engagement plans for key external experts and support speaker development activities.
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate medical insights from the field to inform strategic decision making.
  • Support clinical trial feasibility assessments, investigator-initiated studies, and evidence generation activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, pipeline developments, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, and other teams.
  • Contribute to product launch preparation and lifecycle management activities across the Nordic region.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, compliance requirements, and applicable regulations.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • MD, or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field combined with a PhD or equivalent scientific qualification.
  • Previous experience as an MSL, Medical Advisor, Clinical Scientist, or a related Medical Affairs role.
  • Strong ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate scientific and clinical data.
  • Experience engaging with healthcare professionals and scientific stakeholders.
  • Pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • A collaborative mindset combined with the ability to work independently.
  • Scientific curiosity, learning agility, and a passion for medical dialogue.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
  • Additional Nordic language skills are considered an advantage.

Reporting Relationships:

This position reports directly to the Head of Medical Affairs Nordics
