What You Can Expect

This position is responsible for supporting the Patient Matched Implants (PMI) team by means of analyzing, reconstructing, troubleshooting, and setting course of action for patient specific image data from scan sites, field representatives, physicians, and internal team members with all aspects of the project related to scanning protocols, issues, and best practices.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Responsible for the process and technical aspects of reconstructing CT scan data.
  • Act as a Zimmer Biomet expert on scanning technology
  • Support Zimmer Biomet Reps with scan protocol questions relating to Patient Matched Implant technology.
  • Support Physicians with scan protocol questions relating to Patient Matched Implant technology.
  • Support Scan Site on how to implement specific scan protocol.
  • Refine, create & review existing and new scan protocols.
  • Evaluate poor scans to determine corrective & preventative actions.
  • Engage in the review and approval process of patient scans used to create PMI specialty devices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to facilitate the development and constant improvement of PMI specialty device design.
  • Identify and develop future work flow options as related to expanding capacity and efficiency in processing patient image data for use in designing PMI specialty devices.
  • Evaluate if patient image data meets necessary protocols for the design of specialty devices on an ongoing basis.
  • Responsible for communicating with engineering staff any findings within the patient image data that may apply to, or affect, the design of a PMI specialty device.

Your Background

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with specialized training and/or certification and 2 years of relevant experience required. 
  • Minimum one year experience related to CT/MRI and/or Radiologic Technologist certification required.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Associate’s degree in Radiology Technology, Medical Imaging or other closely related field preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree in a medical field is preferred.
  • Prior work experience in an imaging center or medical device company is highly desirable.

Travel Expectations

Less than 5%

Expected Compensation Range

$33 - $41/hour USD
