The role involves providing medical information and communication support to marketing and key account managers, including literature analysis and the development of training materials. Additionally, the advisor manages Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and supports clinical trial activities and life cycle management for products.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Main Responsibilities
Medical Information and Communication:
- Provide literature analysis for Key Account Managers (KAMs), marketing, and customers
- Support local marketing activities
- Support congress activities
- Support the finalization of regional dossiers for the local Health Authorities
Medical Education and Training:
- Develop slide decks for training activities and for the support of key customers
- Contribute to the development of local marketing materials
- Support of KAMs/MD with co-visits (KOLs and key customers)
- Develop expert knowledge of competitor products and activities
- Support Market Access activities.
Clinical Trial activity:
- Support life cycle management activities for Amicus’ products
- Contribution to the management of Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS)
- Contribute to the selection of potential study sites for development trials
Key opinion Leader Management
- Identify relevant KOLs. KOL specific development plans created and delivered
- Provide support to KOLs (literature supply, slide decks, speaker support)
- Manage Advisory Boards
Success Profile:
- Medical or scientific degree.
- Knowledge of Health System and Health Care decision making
- Working understanding of statistical research methods
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Keen interest in developing and maintaining expert knowledge for assigned therapeutic area/product and in medical research in general.
- Knowledge of the scientific methods applied to clinical research and the current legislative/regulatory controls.
- Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical and Health Care environment and excellent skills to set stakeholders relationship.
- Familiarity with GCP/ SOP and knowledge of approval processes for clinical programs and outcomes
- Work in a matrix style organization
- Good knowledge of computer and electronic tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at different locations, showing strong time management and task prioritization skills
- Excellent managerial and organizational skills
