Media Manager with German

As a Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing strategic client relationships while driving the success of advertising campaigns across Amazon DSP and/or Sponsored Ads. You'll own campaign performance, develop data-driven media strategies, and partner closely with clients to identify growth opportunities and maximize advertising investment.

In this role, you'll work across upper- and lower-funnel advertising solutions, helping brands achieve their business goals through a combination of Amazon DSP, Sponsored Ads, audience strategy, and retail media expertise. Whether your background is stronger in DSP or Sponsored Ads, you'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise across Amazon's advertising ecosystem while collaborating with internal teams, Amazon partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

As a trusted client advisor, you'll lead strategic conversations, identify opportunities for growth, contribute to process improvements, mentor teammates, and help shape the future of Podean's Media practice.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a portfolio of Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients across Amazon DSP and Sponsored Ads.
• Develop and execute full-funnel media strategies aligned with client business objectives.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyze KPIs, and provide strategic recommendations to improve results and uncover growth opportunities.
• Lead client meetings, business reviews, dashboards, and presentations while acting as a trusted strategic advisor.
• Collaborate with Amazon and third-party partners on new features, product innovation, and beta opportunities.
• Leverage Amazon Ads tools, including Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), DSP reporting, Sponsored Ads reporting, Performance+, custom reporting, and ticketing systems to generate actionable insights.
• Partner closely with Business Development, Account Management, Analytics, and Creative teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Contribute to process improvements, documentation, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and support onboarding and peer development.
• Own personal and team OKRs while maintaining a high standard of client satisfaction and account health.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns, preferably across Amazon DSP and Sponsored Ads, or strong hands-on experience with at least one of these platforms.
• Experience with additional paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other performance marketing channels is a plus.
• Strong understanding of retail media and Amazon advertising best practices.
• Proven ability to analyze campaign performance, optimize KPIs, and translate data into actionable recommendations for clients.
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional English proficiency (B2/C1) with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
