The Training Director is responsible for the design, delivery, and compliance of all examiner and support staff training under the MDE contract. This role owns the annual Training Plan and serves as the primary interface with the VBA MDEO Training Team.
The Training Director role is responsible for the design, delivery, and compliance of all examiner, support staff, and subcontractor training under the MDE contract. This position owns the annual Training Plan and serves as the primary interface with the VBA MDEO Training Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Author and maintain the annual Training Plan
- Ensure all examiners complete required General and Specialty Certification Courses in VBA MDE TRAIN prior to conducting any examination.
- Manage examiner recertification (5-year cycle and 12-month inactivity triggers).
- Coordinate with the MDEO Train mailbox and COR to verify new examiner training completion before scheduling.
- Prevent training-based exclusions per Attachment AT; respond to deficiency notifications within 15 days.
- Ensure annual HIPAA and Privacy Act training completion for all providers, support staff, and subcontractors.
- Contribute training metrics to Monthly Status Reports and ad-hoc reporting.
- Support Government training audits
