Position: Material Construction Coordinator

Location: Portland, OR (Remote)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Direct Client Need

Position Summary:

• The Material Construction Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all construction-related material activities for Custom Network projects.
• This role ensures that Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements are accurately tracked, ordered, delivered, and available to support field construction activities and site readiness milestones.
• The coordinator works closely with construction managers, engineering teams, vendors, warehouses, and construction partners to ensure material availability does not impact project schedules.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Material Tracking: Manage and coordinate all construction-related material activities for network projects.
• BOM Management: Ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements are accurately tracked, ordered, and delivered.
• Field Support: Safeguard site readiness milestones by ensuring materials are available to support field construction.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with construction managers, engineering teams, vendors, warehouses, and construction partners.
• Schedule Optimization: Proactively mitigate risks to ensure material availability does not impact project timelines.
• Data & Reporting: Utilize Excel and tracking systems to manage logistics data and project reporting.

Qualifications

Skills, Technologies, and Qualifications:

• Construction Material Management: Proven experience overseeing materials within a construction or engineering environment.
• Logistics Coordination: Strong tracking, delivery management, and supply chain coordination skills.
• BOM Proficiency: Direct experience interpreting and managing complex Bills of Materials.
• Telecommunications Infrastructure: Technical understanding or background in telecom network deployments.
• Project Coordination: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines across multiple stakeholders.
• Data Analysis & Systems: Advanced Microsoft Excel reporting skills; experience with One Vision or similar data management tools is highly preferred.

Work Schedule & Travel:

• Hours: Standard work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Pacific Time preferred.
• Overtime: Overtime is not expected, though occasional off-hours support may be required.
• Travel: Minimal travel required, generally less than 10%.
• On-Call: No regular on-call, weekend, or shift differential requirements.
