What You Will Do
This position serves as a strategic leader within Raytheon Supply Chain, responsible for enterprise‑level initiatives that support material availability, risk reduction, and long‑term supply chain resilience. The role provides cross‑business expertise, drives critical operational reviews, and oversees key funding mechanisms that enable optimal sourcing strategies.
Rare Earth Elements Strategy
• Represent Raytheon Supply Chain at the corporate level on all initiatives involving the evolving environment of Rare Earth Elements.
• Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert, providing guidance, insight, and strategic support across all Raytheon businesses.
• Support development and execution of sourcing strategies that address supply risk, market dynamics, and long‑term material needs.
Control Tower & Operations Review
• Lead the development and coordination of the Supply Chain Control Tower and the monthly Supply Chain Operations Review.
• Partner with Supply Chain leadership to compile required metrics, insights, and performance updates.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and visibility of enterprise‑level operational data used for leadership decision‑making.
Appropriation Request (AR) Management
• Provide oversight and performance management of company‑funded Appropriation Requests used to strengthen the supply base and reduce risk.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams—including Finance, Planning, Procurement, and Programs—to identify needs, define strategies, and develop funding proposals.
• Communicate AR strategies, status, and results to senior leaders, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and expected outcomes.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
Experience with FAR/DFARS and ITAR compliance regulations.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and lead in a cross functional environment
Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply critical thinking
Skilled in communications, team building, conflict resolution and relationship management to create an effective partnering environment that includes credibility, respect and trust
Demonstrated ability to lead and present executive level reviews and briefings
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Experience with operations or program management, including program development lifecycle, Statement of Work generation, risk management, action item management, requirement change management
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite of Products
Prior experience with multiple subcontract types including but not limited to Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF)
Experience with reading and understanding drawings, specifications and other engineering documents including complex SOWs
Experience with proposals from prospective suppliers and analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability, conducting investigations to ensure ability to perform within cost and schedule
Experience working in Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) programs.
Professional certifications such as CPSM or PMP.
Familiarity with RTX systems and processes.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
