The Master Electrician will serve as the licensed authority responsible for reviewing, approving, and signing off on electrical work across data center sites. They will also oversee field electricians, coordinate project execution, and ensure all installations comply with safety and electrical codes.

We are seeking a Master Electrician (licensed) to support data center operations across Virginia with opportunity to expand into other states in the east region. This person will serve as the licensed authority responsible for reviewing, approving, and signing off on electrical work while also overseeing electricians in the field, coordinating day-to-day project execution, and ensuring work is completed safely, correctly, and in compliance with code. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and supporting power distribution and low voltage systems, interpreting drawings and one-lines, inspecting completed work, and acting as the key escalation point for electrical issues and approvals across both sites. This is not a pure PM role—it is a field-driven position for someone who can lead the work, supervise others, and use their license to validate and sign off on completed electrical installations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Active Virginia Master Electrician license
  • Ability to review, approve, and sign off on electrical work to ensure code compliance
  • Willingness to join our team for a full time/W2 (no 1099)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Prior data center experience (power distribution, critical infrastructure environments)
  • Experience in a Supervisor, Foreman, or Project Manager-type role in the field
  • Familiarity with multi-site oversight or supporting projects across multiple locations
  • Experience working with electrical drawings, one-lines, and system validations
  • Background in high-availability / mission-critical environments where uptime is key
  • Willingness to reciprocate license to other states down the road
