Position: Marketing Strategy & Transformation Lead (Fixed Term Contract for 2 years with possibility of extension)

Do you enjoy turning insights and ambition into strategies that keep a business focused on what truly matters to customers? We’re now looking for two Marketing Strategy & Transformation Leads to help shape how Seco builds relevance and drives long‑term growth – one in Europe and one in the Asia-Pacific region.

Your new team

You’ll be part of our Marketing Strategy and Customer Insights team, a collaborative group that turns insights into strategic impact. We work across the organization to shape bold, data‑driven direction, strengthen our brand, and support marketing excellence. Our focus is to bring clarity, alignment, and practical tools that help teams create consistent, meaningful experiences for customers and the business.

About the job

Your role is to translate customer understanding, future signals, and business priorities into clear marketing strategies. You set up structures that help teams prioritize, make decisions faster, and stay aligned. You shape frameworks, define strategic choices and make sure insights play a natural part in how plans are developed and executed.

Part of the work is transformational. You support improved operating models, develop new ways of working, and help the organization adopt strategy in a consistent, scalable way. You also turn strategic direction into compelling narratives that make sense to leaders and teams across the organization.

Here are some of the areas you work with:

  • Developing and refining marketing strategy frameworks and prioritization models.
  • Turning strategic ambition into roadmaps, operating models, and ways of working.
  • Facilitating cross‑functional alignment between BMC, Sales, Product, Digital, and other teams.
  • Integrating insights and foresights into strategic decision‑making.
  • Creating strategic narratives, communication material, and engagement plans.
  • Preparing analyses, scenarios, and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Defining success metrics, objectives, and measurement structures.
  • Supporting alignment across markets to ensure coherent brand and communication execution.
  • Coaching colleagues and contributing to capability building within the strategy function.

Location and reporting

The location for this role is flexible within either Europe or the APAC region. You report to the Director of Marketing Strategy and Customer Insights.

Your profile

A background in strategic planning, marketing strategy, or a similar area gives you the foundation to connect insights, business objectives, and customer value. Your analytical skills are strong, and you’re comfortable interpreting data, structuring complex information and documenting strategy with precision. A proactive mindset, clear written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to work both independently and in cross‑functional setups are essential.

Collaboration comes naturally, and you build trust across functions through diplomacy, clarity, and steady communication. You’re able to translate big‑picture thinking into practical direction that teams can follow, and you enjoy working in a setting where structure, adaptability and continuous improvement go hand in hand.

Our Seco culture

At Seco, we're united by a spirit of collaboration and a shared curiosity to learn and grow. We take responsibility for our actions, stay focused on our customers, and believe in winning together. For us, it’s also clear that our diversities form an amazing foundation for achieving great results.
