About the Role:

 

They are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Marketing Specialist to work directly with the Marketing Director, to manage, execute, and elevate their marketing initiatives.

A primary focus of this position is to seamlessly take over day-to-day marketing operations. They are looking for an autonomous, creative professional with advanced marketing skills who can take projects entirely across the finish line—from initial content creation all the way to paid ad execution and funding.



 

Key Responsibilities

As the Marketing Specialist, you will handle full-cycle marketing campaigns and ensure brand consistency across all channels. Your main duties will include:

  • Content Creation & Social Media: Design and manage engaging content across social media platforms, keeping our audience connected and growing.
  • Property & Listing Marketing: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and promotional campaigns for new real estate listings.
  • Ad Strategy & Execution: Build, fund, and manage paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads) from concept to conversion.
  • Print & Digital Design: Create high-quality print advertisements, flyers, and digital assets while strictly adhering to visual guidelines and brand consistency.
  • SEO Optimization: Implement SEO strategies to improve search visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Collaboration & Project Management: Coordinate closely with the Marketing Director on upcoming content needs, listing details, and campaign timelines to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Local Market Research: Proactively research and familiarize yourself with the Central Virginia (specifically Charlottesville) area to generate relevant local content, spotlight local businesses, and align campaigns with the community's culture. 
 

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for a sharp, creative thinker who understands the nuances of the American real estate market and can work independently.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent professional experience (Required).
  • Experience: 3+ years of professional marketing experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Canva and other design tools; hands-on experience with paid ad platforms (Facebook, Google) and SEO optimization.
  • Communication: Exceptional English fluency (written and spoken) is critical for creative collaboration and copywriting.
  • Mindset: A critical thinker who brings original ideas to the table, possesses a strong visual eye, and maintains strict attention to brand guidelines.
