You will work directly with the founder to build and maintain an evidence-based marketing framework and curriculum. Responsibilities include auditing research, creating educational assessments, and developing AI-driven marketing workflows.
About the Work
The founder has spent several years building a marketing framework that is becoming a book, a community office hours series, and a full curriculum. It also powers our software. Everything we teach and sell rests on evidence, so we are hiring a researcher to build and protect that foundation.
The Role
You will work directly with the founder to turn the framework into an education program that holds up to scrutiny, and to supply the research our software is built on. You find the strongest evidence, tell us what it does and does not support, and help shape what we teach. The role starts with research and grows into curriculum and test building, and into using AI to create marketing assets. How fast it grows depends on how quickly you establish the foundation for the framework. The founder is preparing much of the material for you to take over.
What You Will Own
The evidence library for the book, starting with the relationship marketing claims
A research pass on every office hours outline: each claim checked section by section, newest research first, with a claims and sources list the founder reviews before anything is cited
The curriculum structure: one core question and one takeaway for each chapter, learning objectives for each, and a path through the office hours topics
Tests and assessments for the curriculum, including questions that check what learners understood
Prompts and workflows that use AI to create marketing assets, built with the founder and checked against the evidence
Behavioral science input on how buyers think and decide, which feeds the buyer psychology behind each session and each persona in our software
Market research for new products, including target markets, buyer segments, and inputs to competitor discovery
Short summaries of new academic and industry research that affect the framework
What You Bring
A background in behavioral science, such as psychology, behavioral economics, or consumer decision-making
Hands-on experience with research methods, both quantitative and qualitative
Marketing experience, ideally in both B2B and B2C settings
Strong judgment about which sources deserve trust, and the habit of checking the original study instead of a summary of it
The ability to write findings in plain language that a business owner can use
AI fluency: you write clear prompts, build repeatable workflows, and check what AI returns against the original sources
Nice to Have
Experience building curriculum, training programs, assessments, or educational content
Familiarity with positioning, brand strategy, or innovation research
How We Will Measure Success
Week 2: an audit of the evidence library with every unsourced claim listed by chapter
Day 45: gaps closed for the foundation chapters and a draft curriculum outline for the first level
Day 90: the full curriculum outline and a research brief on the first target market
Hours and Pay
Part time, 20 to 30 hours a week
$40 per hour
How We Work
You present findings first, and nothing gets cited in a public asset until the founder approves it
Recent research leads, and older foundational work is included when it still holds
The founder makes the final call on what the framework says
You will work closely with the portfolio content marketer, who turns approved findings into messaging and sales assets
“I was the first applicant for a remote marketing position that got listed on the company website the same day I applied. Had an interview within 48 hours!”
