Pro-Play Games and PPG Event Management are looking for a Marketing Manager who can bring strategy, consistency, creativity, and execution to our growing gaming and events brands. This isn't a role where you'll create a marketing plan and hand it off to someone else. We're looking for someone who can build the strategy and execute it. You'll manage everything from social media and content calendars to event campaigns, creative direction, analytics, email marketing, paid-media recommendations, and broadcast/streaming initiatives for events across the country.
If you love gaming, live events, content, communities, and the challenge of turning a lot of moving pieces into one organized marketing strategy, this may be the role for you.
What You'll Own
You'll be responsible for building and managing the marketing strategy for both Pro-Play Games and PPG Event Management, including:
- Overall marketing strategy and planning
- Social media strategy and management
- Content calendars
- Content creation and copywriting
- Campaign development and execution
- Event marketing
- Event-registration campaigns
- Email and digital marketing
- Website and landing-page marketing support
- Paid-media recommendations
- Analytics and reporting
- Community engagement
- Product and game launches
- Creative direction
- Graphic designer oversight
- Photography/video coordination
- Broadcast and livestream planning
- Event-related marketing initiatives supporting PPG partners and clients
This is a hands-on marketing role. You'll be expected to plan, organize, write, create, coordinate, publish, analyze, follow up, and make sure campaigns actually get across the finish line.
Event Marketing & Broadcast
Events are a major part of what we do. You'll work closely with our Events Project Managers to develop and execute marketing strategies for tournaments, conventions, activations, and other gaming events. You'll also help oversee broadcast and streaming operations for applicable events, including coordination of schedules, content, production needs, promotion, and onsite execution. Regular travel to events is required.
What Success Looks Like
We're not looking for marketing activity simply for the sake of being active. We want measurable improvement in:
- Event registrations
- Social engagement
- Campaign performance
- Content consistency
- Marketing planning
- Audience growth
- Brand visibility
- Creative execution
Within your first 90 days, we expect you to establish a clear marketing strategy, create consistent marketing schedules, improve visibility into upcoming campaigns and events, and demonstrate strong follow-through from planning through execution.

- Are comfortable using data to evaluate what's working.
- Can give graphic designers clear direction and feedback.
- Can manage multiple campaigns and events at the same time.
- Communicate proactively when something is at risk.
- Don't need someone constantly reminding you about deadlines.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Can take ownership of a project and follow it all the way through.
