About the role

Navitas is looking for a digitally savvy and performance-focused Marketing Automation and Digital Content Specialist to join our team and shape the way prospective students engage with our brands.


In this exciting role, you'll bring customer journeys to life by designing, building, and optimizing personalised email, WhatsApp, and SMS campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related platforms. Working at the intersection of content, technology, and data, you'll transform campaign strategies into engaging, automated communications that deliver the right message to the right audience at every stage of the recruitment journey.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Automation and Omnichannel Strategy Support:

  • Translate campaign briefs, journey strategies and audience logic into practical execution plans with brand, sales and admissions teams.

Omnichannel Marketing Communications:

  • Build, test and deploy personalized email, WhatsApp and SMS communications, adapting content and calls to action for each channel.

Email Campaign Build and Digital Content Execution:

  • Build emails, templates, content blocks and campaign assets, and write or adapt accurate content across brands, audiences and funnel stages.

Dynamic Content, Personalisation and Segmentation:

  • Build and test segmentation, triggers and dynamic content using brand, course, campus, recruitment stage and behavioral data.

Journey and Automation Support:

  • Build, maintain and test automated journeys, including sends, waits, decision splits, audience rules and coordinated lead handoffs.

Technology and Platform Support:

  • Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud and support other CRM, automation, WhatsApp and SMS platforms while maintaining organized campaign assets.

Campaign QA and Governance:

  • Complete end-to-end QA, follow approval processes, document builds and escalate risks or unclear requirements before deployment.

Reporting and Optimization Support:

  • Support reporting, tracking and A/B testing, and recommend improvements to content, timing, channel mix and journey performance.

Training, Documentation and Stakeholder Support:

  •  Support stakeholders with campaign production and document repeatable processes for Australian and offshore teams.

Compliance and Data Protection:

  • Apply consent, unsubscribe and preference requirements, handle data in line with Navitas policy and identify data or compliance issues early.

 

Qualifications and Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, Technology, or equivalent experience, with hands-on expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar marketing automation platform.
  • Proven experience building and delivering personalised omnichannel campaigns across email and at least one messaging channel (WhatsApp or SMS), using audience segmentation, dynamic content, and automated customer journeys.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing, proofreading, stakeholder management, and project coordination abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and customer-focused, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns.

 

Desirable

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Content Builder, Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio) and other CRM or marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Pardot, or Marketo.
  • Working knowledge of AMP script, HTML, CSS, dynamic content, and personalization techniques to support effective campaign execution.
  • Experience in higher education, student recruitment, or multi-brand environments, with the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance research, content creation, campaign delivery, and workflow efficiency.
