Role Overview:

The Managing Consultant, Technical – RightAngle, serves as a technical leader responsible for the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of RightAngle solutions for energy and commodity trading organizations. This role requires advanced technical expertise in .NET, C#, CTRM data models, and system integrations, along with the ability to lead complex technical workstreams and guide solution architecture decisions. The Managing Consultant partners closely with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable, robust, and maintainable RightAngle solutions, provides technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle, and ensures high-quality delivery aligned with client business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and development of RightAngle implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring solutions are scalable, robust, and maintainable.
• Own technical architecture decisions and contribute to enterprise-level system designs across RightAngle environments.
• Develop and review technical design documentation, object-oriented designs, and implementation standards.
• Customize and extend RightAngle functionality using .NET, C#, and scripting tools such as Python or Shell.
• Oversee and validate test strategies and test cases to ensure solution functionality, performance, and reliability meet client requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of client front-, middle-, and back-office processes to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
• Collaborate directly with clients to gather, refine, and translate business and technical requirements into effective system designs.
• Lead and support system integrations using APIs, messaging frameworks, and RightAngle configuration tools.
• Provide technical leadership during testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.
• Partner with functional, technical, and project leadership to ensure successful project delivery and superior client experience.

Key Requirements:

• 14+ years of professional services experience delivering CTRM/ETRM solutions, with deep expertise in RightAngle S15 or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable, integrated solutions across enterprise systems.
• Prior experience providing technical leadership or mentoring within project teams.
• Advanced proficiency with the .NET framework, C#, and scripting tools such as Python or Shell.
• Strong expertise in RightAngle architecture, CTRM data models, core functionality, and integration capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical workstreams and guide solution design decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in RightAngle Functional delivering CTRM/ETRM solutions with S15 or higher
