About this role:

Own retail execution excellence and customer growth within the off-premise channel. Partnering closely with our distributors, you’ll build strong key account relationships, drive merchandising and POS standards, and lead brand education to deliver off-premise performance for the state.

Scope

• Retail territory (DMA)

• Key retail accounts

• Statewide off-premise merchandising and execution standards

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver retail execution (shelf, display, distribution, programming)

• Manage distributor and merchandising execution

• Build robust off-premise customer relationships

• Deploy activation strategies that grow customer and consumer connection to our brands

Key Accounts

• Actively nurture relationships with key accounts and be available for account visits

• Use a key account list aligned with our distributor partners to build and develop positive relationships

• Identify business opportunities within accounts (pricing, execution, activation, etc.)

Pricing & Merchandising

• Provide input on strategic pricing opportunities identified in the field

• Manage statewide merchandising

• Coordinate with distributors to plan and execute off-premise blitzes based on strategic priorities

POS & Compliance

• Develop and ensure compliance with the statewide merchandising process and strategy

• Supply POS materials to distributor partners

• Own off-premise execution standards and insights, providing regular updates to distributor off-premise teams

Insights & Brand Education

• Present or facilitate presentations of key insights, holding distributors accountable to execution standards in market

• Facilitate and lead brand education for distributor off-premise sales teams

• Support goal planning, incentive development, and focus week / blitz management in the off-premise

Success Measures

• Shelf/display compliance

• Retail growth

• Execution quality

• ROS acceleration and improvement

 

Experience/skills required: 

• 4–7+ years in sales or retail account management

• Experience in off-premise / retail environment (e.g., grocery, liquor chains)

• Exposure to merchandising or in-store execution standards

• Strong understanding of category management and shopper behavior

• Experience working with distributor reps and merchandising teams

• Data-driven mindset (execution tracking)

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Category/retail training a plus

NEW JERSEY: SALARY RANGE IS FROM $110.550 TO $184.250 (ANNUAL)
