Role Description:
The player-coach. Runs governance AND does hands-on savings work. Must be a generalist who can pivot across all categories
• Run Steering Committees and executive governance meetings (like a Director, but at a smaller scale)
• Set savings targets, manage budget, track engagement performance
• ALSO actively lead sourcing work — RFPs, negotiations, product evaluations
• Cover clinical AND non-clinical categories as needed (med/surg, purchased services, facilities, lab)
• Manage a small team (1-2 direct reports)

Required Skills:
• 5+ years healthcare supply chain or consulting
 • 3+ years with governance experience (steering committees, executive reporting)
 • Generalist orientation — can work across clinical and non-clinical categories
 • RFP/negotiation experience
 • Strong project management skills — this person juggles governance + delivery
