MAINFRAME - LANGUAGE/SCRIPT

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer (Mainframe) with 4 to 6 years of experience in Mainframe technologies. 
Strong domain expertise in the Life Insurance, Annuity, and Retirement Services industry. 
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing functional requirements, developing and enhancing applications, supporting production issues, 
and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
The candidate needs to have eperience on TIBCO Objectstar, if not the candidate should be ready to learn Objectstar and support the application on Objectstar.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop, maintain, and enhance Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, and IDMS.
Independently work on mainframe development and BAU activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Good to have Objectstar experience, if not available the candidate should be willing to learn Objectstar and support the application.
Participate in requirement clarification discussions with business stakeholders and functional teams.
Develop solutions aligned with approved business cases and project requirements.
Prepare and update technical specifications, design documents, and process flow diagrams.
Perform unit testing, integration testing support, and defect resolution.
Provide functional and technical support for production incidents, service requests, and problem management activities.
Conduct impact analysis for system enhancements, regulatory changes, and production issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, QA teams, and production support teams.
Ensure adherence to development standards, coding best practices, and quality processes.
