As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality radiological services to our clients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to support various medical imaging needs, contributing significantly to patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency. 

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
• Interpret radiological images and provide accurate reports
• Collaborate with referring physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations
• Assist in the development of imaging protocols and procedures
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
• Provide mentorship and support to junior radiology staff
• Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and techniques

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Illinois
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
• Strong knowledge of radiological practices and technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Experience in a locum or contract role is a plus
• Skillsets: ED, pediatric DX, or neuro

Flexible Schedule: Day, swing, and night shifts

Onsite and remote coverage options

Shifts available at multiple respected facilities

EMR: Epic

PACS: Phillips

Dictation: Powerscribe 1

Workstations will be provided

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Paid travel & expenses for onsite radiologists
