. This contract, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide essential radiology coverage in a dynamic medical practice environment.



As a Locum Radiology Physician, you will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds. You will collaborate closely with referring physicians and clinical staff to deliver accurate, timely diagnoses that directly support patient care and treatment planning. This role is ideal for a skilled radiologist who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused setting and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of medical imaging.



 



Responsibilities



  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
  • Provide accurate and timely radiology reports to referring physicians
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment
  • Ensure compliance with established radiology protocols and quality standards
  • Consult with physicians on imaging findings and recommended follow-up procedures
  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation in electronic health records
  • Adhere to patient safety guidelines and radiation safety standards
  • Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities as required
  • Stay current with advances in radiology technology and diagnostic techniques
  • Provide coverage as needed to ensure continuous radiology services


Requirements



  • MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Radiology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Associate-level experience in diagnostic radiology
  • Proficiency in interpreting a broad range of imaging modalities
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site clinical environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
  • Current ACLS or BLS certification preferred
  • Experience with electronic health records and radiology information systems preferred


Flexible schedule



Setting: 100% remote



Volume: 7 RVUs per hour



Case Types: CTs (excluding lung), ultrasound, and plain film



No neuro required



EMR: Epic



PACS: Fuji



Dictation: Powerscribe
