Live Chat Agent

After Hours Pediatrics provides urgent care for children when families need support beyond the traditional clinic day. Our team delivers after-hours pediatric care during evenings, weekends, and holidays, with board-certified pediatricians and on-site lab and X-ray services that help families get timely answers and treatment.

In this role, you will help create a responsive, reassuring first point of contact for parents and caregivers seeking care information and next steps. As a Live Chat Agent, you will support families with clear communication, help them navigate the visit process, and ensure important concerns are routed quickly to the right clinical team members.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient and parent inquiries through live chat promptly and professionally.
• Triage common questions and direct urgent concerns to appropriate clinical staff.
• Schedule appointments and assist families with registration and intake information.
• Provide accurate information about services, hours, insurance, and visit preparation.
• Document chat interactions clearly and escalate complex issues when needed.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience handling patient or customer inquiries in a chat-based support environment.
• Experience with appointment scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification processes.
• Experience using EHR systems.
• Experience recognizing urgent concerns and escalating them appropriately to clinical staff.
