Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Litigation Intake Specialist to support a growing Australian legal practice on a part-time basis.

This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior level candidate with strong communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and prior experience working within Australian legal environments, particularly litigation matters. The position involves speaking with warm leads and prospective clients in sensitive situations, while also providing legal administrative support to the practice.

The ideal candidate is confident, empathetic, highly organized, and capable of handling client interactions with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact warm leads and prospective clients regarding legal matters and available legal services.

  • Handle sensitive client conversations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.

  • Provide legal administrative support to the practice across litigation matters.

  • Assist with drafting, document management, file maintenance, and general administrative tasks.

  • Maintain accurate client records and follow internal procedures and workflows.

  • Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and communication with clients and stakeholders.

  • Support the legal team in ensuring matters progress efficiently and deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working within an Australian legal practice is required.

  • Prior exposure to litigation matters is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.

  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage sensitive conversations appropriately.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience using ASIC systems is beneficial, though training can be provided.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote and part-time capacity.
