Your BigLaw experience could earn you $140–$400/hour helping train legal AI.

Remote · Contract · No prior AI experience required

A legal answer can sound convincing and still be wrong.

You’ve spent years learning to spot the difference. The overlooked clause. The unsupported argument. The subtle distinction that changes the entire analysis.

That judgment is exactly what this work needs.

We’re seeking attorneys with experience at AmLaw 100 or comparable US law firms to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems on complex legal work.

You’ll bring the expertise. We’ll put it to work on realistic legal documents, questions, and scenarios.

Requirements

What you’ll do

You’ll review AI-generated legal work, identify where it falls short, and show what a stronger answer looks like. Assignments may include:

  • Find what the AI missed. Review legal analyses, contracts, and simulated scenarios for errors, omissions, and flawed reasoning.
  • Show what good looks like. Draft sample agreements, clauses, and explanations that demonstrate sound legal judgment.
  • Explain the reasoning. Provide clear feedback on why an answer works, where it fails, and how to improve it.
  • Set the standard. Help develop evaluation criteria for legal accuracy, completeness, and practical usefulness.
  • Refine the results. Collaborate remotely with specialists through successive rounds of review and feedback.

Relevant practice areas include litigation, M&A, private equity, capital markets, commercial contracts, data privacy, and cross-border transactions.

You could be a strong fit if you:

  • Hold a JD from a US law school and an active US bar admission in good standing.
  • Have practiced at an AmLaw 100 or comparable firm.
  • Bring substantive experience in one or more of the practice areas above.
  • Can explain complex legal reasoning clearly and precisely.
  • Enjoy scrutinizing an argument, finding its weaknesses, and making it better.
  • Work effectively with a remote, multidisciplinary team.

Experience creating review rubrics is a plus. Prior AI experience is not required.

Benefits

Why consider it?

Put your legal expertise to work in a different setting, contribute to how AI handles sophisticated legal tasks, and earn $140–$400 per hour through a remote contract engagement.

The skill that matters most is one you already have: knowing what strong legal work looks like.
