Strategic Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives.

Assess organizational learning and workforce development needs and establish annual learning priorities and training plans.

Partner with Executive Leadership to identify organizational capability gaps and workforce readiness priorities.

Develop competency models and career development frameworks for key positions and career pathways.

Establish measurable KPIs and analytics to evaluate learning effectiveness, workforce development, and return on investment (ROI).

Utilize workforce and learning data to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Identify and implement innovative learning technologies, delivery methods, and development resources.

Manage vendor relationships and external learning resources.

Collaborate with leadership and Human Resources to identify high-potential employees and support succession planning initiatives.

Serve as an internal consultant to leaders regarding employee development, team effectiveness, leadership development, and organizational learning strategies.

Ensure training and development initiatives support applicable industry standards, compliance requirements, and organizational objectives.
Leadership & Management

Establish and manage the Learning and Development budget and allocate resources effectively.

Lead cross-functional learning and organizational development initiatives.

Serve as a subject matter expert in adult learning theory, instructional design, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.

Facilitate training sessions, leadership workshops, and professional development programs as needed.

Build strong collaborative relationships across Executive Leadership, Operational Leadership, department leaders, and Human Resources.

Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and program implementation.

Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and professional growth throughout the organization.

Work Environment
Minimum Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or related field required.

Professional certifications such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance)/CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development ), SHRM-CP/SCP, ATD (Association for Talent Development) certifications, or related credentials preferred.
Experience
-
6+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Talent Development, or related fields.
-
Experience leading enterprise-wide learning or organizational development initiatives.
-
Experience supporting geographically dispersed and/or multi-state workforces preferred.
-
Experience within engineering, technical, professional services, or similar operational environments preferred.

Experience managing learning platforms, HRIS systems, and/or Learning Management Systems (Coursera preferred).
Salary Range:
-
$105,000 - $135,000 annually (based on experience, qualifications, and location)
